The project aims to design a suite of applications that connects all the stakeholders involved in the process of buying and closing a real estate. This application is designed to manage and connect all the users; Realtor, Attorney, Lender, Buyer and Seller through one central platform. Some of the features of this application are case management, calendar, email, and kanban charts.

1. DISCOVERY & RESEARCH

RESEARCH
I started the discovery phase by sending out surveys to Real estate partners, users and gauging the responses into my next round of research. For immersive research experience, I talked to 2 different realtors to breakdown the experience of the closing process through contextual enquiry. To further validate my experiences, I interviewed few buyers and attorneys in one of the agencies to understand their needs and everyday challenges.
DATA SYNTHESIS
From the interviews, some of the following patterns were identified:
How buyers/ sellers find their Real estate agents
How clients stay informed and stay connected to the updates to their property
What they don’t want in the closing process
What the Realtor community needs
How the attorneys and realtors manage their cases
What they do to minimize the process time
From these responses, I was able to identify themes and threads that I would weave into distinct user personas to help guide the problem and solution statements.
